MONROVIA-As the political heat intensifies in the country, the Secretary-General of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Jefferson T. Koijee, has openly bragged that the CDC will win October 10, 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections.
Speaking Tuesday, May 30, 2023, during an honoring program of partisans who recently graduated from the state-run University of Liberia, he noted that the Unity Party’s Standard Bearer, Joseph N. Boakai has no proven electoral records of winning election independently.
“Joseph Boakai has never won any elected post on his own since this country was founded”, he disclosed.
Koijee expressed optimism that the CDC will dominate and gather huge votes ahead of the Unity Party.
He stressed that despite Boakai running mate coming from Nimba County, it poses no threat to CDC’s victory.
Koijee mentioned that the party is poised and determined to overwhelmingly defeat its opponents in the country.
“We are not bothered about who is coming from Nimba,” he revealed.
He urged partisans to be courageous and continue to fight for the interest of the Party and Liberians at large.
