Impeccable information gathered by the New Republic Newspaper reveals that renowned Human Rights Lawyer, Cllr. Tiawon S. Gongloe Political Leader of the Liberian People  Party, (LPP) is considering picking Grand Bassa County Senator, and embattled Political Leader of Liberty Party,  Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence as his running-mate in the October 10, 2023’s Presidential and Legislative Elections.

Barely days after she was left in the cold by Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai of the Unity, Senator Lawrence mentioned that the party was having a consultative meeting on the next direction of the party.

Madam Lawrence noted that following the conclusion of such a meeting, the Party will decide its next course of action.

According to the information, Cllr. Gongloe visited Senator Lawrence in Grand Bassa County to ignite and cement such conversation.

The LPP’s Political Leader, who hails from voter-rich Nimba County, is keen on picking the Grand Bassa County Senator as his running mate.

There has been no comment from the Gongloe since he visited Senator Karnga-Lawrence.

Political pundits have held the view that since the Human Rights Lawyer supported the presidential aspiration of Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in the past; he is going to continue with such by supporting another female.

It is anticipated that the selection of Senator Karnga-Lawrence will waive a huge number of votes and win the solidarity of females in the country.
