300 Persons To Join AFL

MONROVIA-Over three hundred men and women are to be recruited and enlisted into the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) with special preference given to female.
The recruitment process will be done by the Ministry of National Defense (MOD) to beef up the strength of the force.
Making the disclosure to reporters Wednesday in Monrovia, Assistant Defense Minister for Public Affairs, Sam Collins mentioned that as per the AFL National Recruitment Drive, a total of 350 Liberians will be recruited and enlisted into the Army with women given high consideration in a thorough vetting process.
According to him, the pre recruitment trainings are for only females in Montserrado County, while females in the other counties will perform a written examination.
Collins asserted that no one Liberian is going to pay in order to be accorded the opportunity to be recruited into the army.
